The short version

KnowCarCost is a free calculator website. You type numbers into your browser and we do arithmetic with them. None of the figures you enter in the calculators are sent to our servers — the calculations run entirely in your browser.

What we do collect

Like almost every website, our server logs may record basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. We use this only to keep the site running, diagnose faults and defend against abuse.

Your country choice is stored in your own browser (localStorage) so the site can remember your currency and units on your next visit. It never leaves your device.

What we do NOT collect

We do not ask for your name, email, address or payment details. We do not sell personal data. We do not build advertising profiles of individual visitors.

If we add optional analytics in the future, it will be privacy-respecting and this policy will be updated first.

Advertising and Google AdSense
